Three years before the current storyline, the Hero Association was founded by multi-millionaire Agoni whose grandchild was attacked by a mysterious being and saved by Saitama (with hair). After hearing happened, Agoni came up with the idea and founded the Hero Association and the National Superhero Registry from private funds
6 - Bofoy (ボフォイ博士, Bofoi Hakase) is an S-Class, rank 6, superhero for the Hero Association. He also goes by the hero name Metal Knight (メタルナイト, Metarunaito).
Personality
He appears to have an avid interest in any form of high technology, as shown when he sent one of his robots to collect remnants or look for anything that might be useful in the wreckage of the Dark Matter Thieves' ship. Despite being a hero, he has no compassion for others if it won't benefit him. Even when a meteor is about to strike Z-City, his only concern is the reliability of his new missiles. Because of Engine Knight's warning to Genos, anything about Bofoy remains mysterious.

Being a S-Class hero, it can be assumed that Bofoy is very powerful.
IntelligenceBofoy possesses a genius-level intellect, which enables him to to create highly advanced machines and weapons. He was also able to rebuild the Hero Association's HQ, proving great architectural knowledge.
7 - King (キング, Kingu) is an S-Class, Rank 7, superhero for the Hero Association
PersonalityKing is able to appear extremely calm in threatening situations as well as put out an extremely threatening aura. Despite the intimidating personality King projects, he is actually a coward and an Otaku. He has been shown to get very excited about buying a dating game. He is shown to be actually caring and thoughtful but his cowardice usually steps in which prevents him from doing so.
Physical Abilities
King Engine Visualized The King Engine visualized. Strong Heartbeats: The "King Engine (キングエンジン, Kingu Enjin)" is a rumbling sound that others claim to occur when King readies for battle or when he is generally serious, which has a formidable impact on his opponent's psyche.[6] In reality, it is simply the sound of King's heart beating rapidly loud from fear, anxiety or other uneasiness. Because of King's intimidation and reputation it is mistaken for bloodlust.
8 - Zombieman (ゾンビマン, Zonbiman) is a S-Class Rank 8 superhero for the Hero Association. Described as "a man that even in death cannot die," Zombieman possesses one of the best regeneration capabilities in the series.
Personality
Zombieman appears to be bothered by the peculiarities of the Hero Association meeting, noting that the heroes do not look very cooperative and hiding his annoyance at Pig God's continued consumption. He is unusually sensitive to the death of a human. Zombieman has been stated to be nihilistic. Therefore, he is always calm. In addition, he prefers to work as a lone wolf and dislikes gathering. Although he still has manners and respects the company of others.

Being a S-Class hero, it can be assumed that Zombieman is very powerful.
Physical Abilities
Regeneration: He possesses incredible regeneration and is able to regenerate any part of his body no matter how severe the injury is. It is very likely that he is truly immortal, as he seems to be able to regenerate from total obliteration, but this is not entirely clear.
9 - Drive Knight (駆動騎士, Kudō Kishi) is an S-Class Rank 9 superhero of the Hero Association.
PersonalityDrive Knight does seem to have a distrust for Metal Knight as seen when Drive Knight tells Genos to be wary of Metal Knight.
Abilities & PowersNot much is known of Drive Knight's abilities, however since Drive Knight is an S-Class hero, it can be assumed that Drive Knight is rather powerful.
10 - Pig God (豚神, Butagami) is the S-Class, Rank 10, superhero for the Hero Association.
Personality
Not much it known about his personality. He appears to be a glutton.

Not much is known of Pig God's abilities, however since he is an S-Class hero, it can be assumed that he is rather powerful.
11 - Superalloy Darkshine (超合金クロビカリ, Chōgōkin kurobikari) is the S-Class rank 11 superhero of the Hero Association.
Personality
He seems to be a vain person, as seen when he was sitting at a meeting with other S-Class heroes, he wondered whether everyone's eyes were glued to his body and whether or not he was the shiniest person in the room.
Abilities & Powers
Being a S-Class hero, it can be presumed that he is very powerful.

12 - Watchdog-man (番犬マン Banken-man) is an S-Class superhero, rank 12, who is in charge of Q-City.
Personality
Not much is known about his personality. However, he has been shown to be very blunt and nonchalant.

Not much is known of Watchdog-man's abilities, however since he is an S-Class hero, it can be assumed that he is rather powerful. A testament to his prowess is that he was left in charge of Q-City, which is considered to be the most dangerous city in the country. According to the Hero Association, Watchdog-man has been taking out mysterious beings faster than any other hero.
13 - Lightspeed Flash (閃光のフラッシュ, Senkō no Furasshu) is a S-Class, rank 13, superhero for the Hero Association.
Personality
He is a serious man, immediately starting the topic of discussion at the meeting and stopping the fight between Tatsumaki and Metal Bat.
Abilities & Powers
As a S-Class hero it can be assumed that Lightspeed Flash is very powerful.

Tanktop Master (タンクトップマスター, Tankutoppu Masutā) is the S-Class, Rank 15, superhero for the Hero Association.
PersonalityTanktop Master has a chivalrous nature, which can be seen when he noted that even if Tatsumaki is ranked 2nd, he should not let a "little girl" handle dangerous enemies on her own, despite the fact that Tatsumaki is actually an adult. He is also unafraid to admit defeat, for example, when he was outclassed by Tatsumaki during the encounter of Dark Matter Thieves aircraft. He is a very caring, wise man with honor and pride, and has a great affinity for his brothers and other heroes.
Abilities & PowersTanktop Master, as a S-Class hero, is one of the strongest heroes in the association. In his fight with Garou, he was able to harm Garou, who was able to defeat elite A-Class heroes with ease.
Physical AbilitiesImmense Strength: Tanktop Master possesses great physical ability. This can be seen when he hurls a large concrete block at a great distance towards the Dark Matter Thieves' aircraft. He was able to shake the ground with the punch, causing Garou to be dizzied. Unlike his fellow Tanktops, he was able to defeat one of Bofoy's drones with a suplex.

15 - Metal Bat (金属バット, Kinzoku Batto) is a S-Class, rank 16, superhero for the Hero Association.
Personality
He appears to have a great deal of confidence in himself stating that he did not care whether a threat is a Demon or Dragon level, he would take care of it himself. He also seems to be brash and reckless, as shown when he immediately smashed one of Melzalgald's marbles instead of trying to analyze what purpose it serves for the enemy. Furthermore he was willing to challenge Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask for his mockery attitude before it was interrupted by a call from his sister and Sweet Mask's client. He speaks in a very rough dialect, pronouncing 'yer' instead of 'your' for example. Despite his brash attitude, he still has a soft side in him when it comes to his sister, who he treats very well and spoils to an extent. Like Saitama, he doesn't care about his rank and sometimes accidentally kills his enemies faster than he intended, such as when he killed Rafflesidon and Senior Centipede before he could get an answers for their motivations. This is different from Sweet Mask's merciless nature. Through flowers and storms, he only carries one weakness… his younger sister! For her sake, he is willing to throw away his life!
Abilities & Powers
As a S-Class hero, Metal Bat is very powerful. It's believed he's one of the strongest S-Class heroes, as he was able to threaten Sweet Mask with little to no fear, one of the strongest characters in the series, and even stronger than some S-Class heroes. He was able to take on multiple monsters, such as Senior Centipede and Rafflesidon, who are each a demon level monster. He was even confident enough to fight a dragon class opponent, stating he doesn't care if it is one.
16 - Genos (ジェノス, Jenosu), is a 19 year old cyborg and the disciple of Saitama. He is always aiming to become stronger and fights for justice. Under the Hero Association, he is given the name Demon Cyborg (鬼サイボーグ, Oni Saibōgu) and is registered as an S-Class hero, at rank 14.
PersonalityGenos is an extremely serious character. He constantly strives to become stronger and pesters Saitama to train him frequently. Since becoming Saitama's disciple, Genos is very reverent and protective towards his "teacher", although he does express annoyance and disbelief at the mundane training regimen Saitama used to gain his powers. On most occasions, Genos acts as a comic foil to Saitama's clueless antics, using a variety of special techniques, battle tactics and robotic upgrades to combat villains (and sustaining terrible damage in the process), only to be outclassed by Saitama with a single punch. Due to Saitama's incredible strength, Genos is led to believe that there is a secret to Saitama's power. Despite their disparity in strength, Genos' diligence earns him greater recognition than his mentor. His superior acumen granted him immediate status as an S-Class Superhero within the Hero Association, compared to Saitama's C-Class designation. He also possesses seemingly vast wealth, enough to repair or upgrade his cyborg body and cover Saitama's rent on a regular basis. He eventually mellows out, and he recognizes that this is due to Saitama's influence. He eventually comes to respect Saitama not just for his power, but also for his character. This was shown when Genos remarks on how similar Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask is to Genos's former self when Sweet Mask brutally dispatches a group of alien prisoners with no mercy.
Abilities & Powers
As a S-Class hero, Genos is undoubtedly a powerful fighter. For someone his age, Genos also has significant battle experience, as he claims to have defeated countless evil entities and organizations before meeting Saitama. His youth and impulsiveness still overcome him on occasion and he remains much weaker than Saitama.

Puri-Puri-Prisoner (ぷりぷりプリズナー, Puripuri Purizunā) is a S-Class, rank 17, superhero for the Hero Association.
PersonalityPuri-Puri Prisoner is a flamboyant, openly homosexual superhero. He takes an interest in other, up and coming heroes and criminals; an interest which led to his titular jail sentence, as he kept attacking them. Criminals that he apprehends are then added to his harem. He appears to be rather absent-minded, as he did not think to remove his sweater before bulking up, and then blamed his opponent, the Sea King, for its destruction.
Abilities & PowersBeing a S-Class hero, it can be assumed that Puri-Puri-Prisoner is a rather powerful individual.
Physical AbilitiesImmense Strength: Puri-Puri-Prisoner possesses immense physical strength, he is able to deal a great amount of damage with each punch.
Enhanced Speed: Puri-Puri-Prisoner is able to run at great speeds. With his technique Angel Dash, he was able to outrun the Dark Matter Thieves' crashing ship.
